Unlock Stress Relief and Well-being with Relaxercise at SBVC

Learn all about ways to relieve stress and encourage mental well-being through the Relaxercise workshop by the CalWORKs department at San Bernardino Valley College. Open to all SBVC students and Valley alumni, this weekly group serves as a central place for instruction, mindfulness, and achieving tranquility.

Led by our CalWORKs counselor and certified expert, Mary K. Urell, this workshop happens weekly in room B-119 of the Business Building and is also available online via Zoom. Urell skillfully guides participants through various breathing techniques and calming relaxation practices that offer a holistic approach to stress management. Each session concludes with an opportunity for participants to share their experiences and acquired practices and promotes a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Whether you're navigating the demands of coursework or facing the challenges of life, this workshop prepares you with a collection of tools to find calmness and peace. It's more than just a gathering; it's a community of individuals committed to improving their well-being.
