San Bernardino Valley College has a temporary program in place called Books+ for students to utilize this Fall 2022 and upcoming Spring 2023 semester. Students ranging from part-time to full-time, new and returning, low-income, undocumented, and many more are able to register to Books+ to obtain free textbook rentals. The process is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
First, you need to be a student at San Bernardino Valley College. You can find more information on how to apply to SBVC here. Then, you are able to register to Books+.
As a student, you will be obligated to enroll in classes. Once you’ve been enrolled, Books+ will send the list of the material and textbooks required for your classes to the Campus Bookstore.
Finally, you’ll receive an email notification when your materials are ready to be picked up. Not all material will be physically available, but accessible online instead. For instructions to access online materials, click here.
This program creates a great opportunity for those who cannot afford to purchase nor rent textbooks for their classes. Sign up for Books+ to receive free rentals for the Spring 2023 semester!
