Have you ever wondered what the world of academia would be like in a foreign setting? You can explore this possibility through the Study Abroad Program established by Citrus College. It is a transformative experience that simultaneously enlightens and challenges the psyche of students within the program.

Joining the SAP can expand your academic career in a multitude of ways. Only 10% of US college students study abroad (AIFS Abroad); taking advantage of this opportunity can boost the presence of your resume all while defining your educational excellence apart from others.

The program is open to all students who attend an accredited college or university. Academic requirements must be met for eligibility. According to Citrus Community College District, “to be eligible, applicants must have completed at least 12 units, nine of which being CSU/UC transferable, with a cumulative 2.5 GPA.”

This opportunity is made possible by the partnership between several community college districts and the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS). The American Institute for Foreign Studies is an insurance and travel company founded in 1964 by British politician and businessman, Sir Cyril Julain Hebden Taylor.

This Fall, the destination for academic exploration is in London, and a short winter session will be held in Paris, France. After that, Seville, Spain will be the following location during the Spring semester. If you would like to acquire additional information about the program visit Citrus College’s study abroad page where you can delve into specifics concerning finances, scholarships, testimonials from former students, and more.
